Nutella Pumpkin Swirl Snack Cake is an easy dessert recipe filled with the festive flavors of pumpkin spice, and thick, rich swirls of Nutella throughout!

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cups unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 heaped teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugars for one minute. Add egg, salt, vanilla, and pumpkin pie spice, and mix well. Mix in pumpkin and baking powder. Add flour and mix until combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread batter into a greased 13x9" pan and set aside.
Step 2
In a small glass bowl, microwave Nutella for about 15 seconds or until it's starting to melt. Drop small spoonfuls of Nutella over the pumpkin layer and swirl with a butter knife until desired look is achieved. Do not over do it or you will lose the swirled effect.
Bake 15-18 minutes or until tester comes out with moist crumbs. Do not over bake. Let cool completely and store covered at room temperature.

Yes! Swirly desserts are the best, especially when you find Nutella in them — yum! I bet this combo of pumpkin & Nutella tastes great!
