Fudgy White Chocolate Brownies stacked on a plate

I am a huge brownie lover. They are my favorite dessert! I’ve been wanting to experiment and come up with a white chocolate version for a long time – I finally did it and the results are amazing!! I’m not even a white chocolate lover, but if you like brownies like me, you will love these!! Grab a bowl and a wooden spoon – let’s bake!

It seems strange to describe these as fudgy since they aren’t chocolate, but trust me, they have the same irresistible fudge like texture as a chocolate brownie! I only like fudgy brownies, so this texture was a must for the recipe to be a success for me.

My husband described these as sugar cookie flavored brownies. That is kind of the perfect description! They are buttery and chewy, and sweet but not too sweet. The fudgy centers and crackle tops make these completely addicting!

Even if you don’t normally like white chocolate, I bet you would love these. Like my hubby said, the flavor is more like a sugar cookie. And oh, the aroma that fills the house while these bake…intoxicating!

Made these today and they were so good! I baked for 35 minutes and they came out very chewy, maybe a bit soft in middle. I guess every oven is different and I will adjust, as I as a white chocolate lover will surely make this again. Slightly less sugar next time, though. Thanks very much!

Sugar Cookie Brownies we’re a good description. I should have let them cook longer to get chewy. Super moist. The picture looked so good, I had to make them within minutes of seeing it! Thank you for sharing!

I made these today. They are good, but not what I expected. My thought was that they would be very sweet but that is not the case. I added about 3/4 cup of chopped pecans.
Melting the butter and the chips together was fine, but they wouldn’t incorporate until I used my mixer to blend them. I think I would either increase the amount of sugar, or add in some white chocolate chips at the end. Also, I baked these in a 9 X 13 pan and they baked up wonderfully, they took 28 minutes.

This is easily my favorite “Blondie” recipe. I’ve found that most blondie recipes produce heavy, oily bars that I cannot enjoy due to theconsistency. These, though, I’ve found to be absolutely perfect, and have been saved into my very small collection of favorite recipes to bake. Thank you for sharing!

I made them last weekend and found them… a bit bland, I have to admit. I had them bake a bit longer than you recommended, which gave them a nice caramelized top, but overall I think they lack extras like nuts, dried fruit or something. They are super fudgy, sweet and taste like white chocolate, but could be improved ever so slightly.

Hmmm. You could use a bit less butter, but be careful not to cut back too much or they will be dry/cakey instead of fudgy. Hope that helps! 🙂

I made these, along with ‘My’ chocolate brownies for a work morning tea and they were amazing! They left the plate quicker than the dark chocolate ones and everyone commented on how delicious they were. I added a cup of lightly roasted and salted macadamia nuts and the combination of gooey white chocolate and crunchy, salty nut was absolutely amazing! This recipe is definitely now one of my, favourite things to cook 🙂

Made them last night and they came out wonderful. A little hint though, only soften the butter in a separate bowl. Then melt the morsels and combine it with the butter. It comes out way more smooth. Otherwise the butter separates and gets oily and you wind up with a gloppy mess instead of smooth batter.
