Would the flavors work using a lemon cake mix? I was thinking of switching chocolate chips for white chocolate…

If the recipe was made without coconut what could you replace it with? Would you double nuts or chips, or simply leave out coconut, just not sure about the ratio.

Hi Charlotte! I would add an extra 1/2 cup of chips and nuts to replace the coconut. Or add 1 cup of any other topping you like! Enjoy!

Can you use sugar free jam to cut some of the sweetness?

Hi, I’m in the UK and we don’t have such a thing as “yellow cake mix” here. Is this just a vanilla sponge mix?

Yes, sounds like the same thing. Alternately, you could make a shortbread crust and it would be just as good!

Would love to make this, but when do you add the jam and how long do you bake it?

These look amazing!!! Can’t wait to try them but do you use sweetened or unsweetened coconut?

I use sweetened because I always have some on hand, but the recipe is certainly sweet enough to use unsweetened coconut. Hope you enjoy them, Yvonne!

I made these for my book club yesterday and they were delicious but I thought I would never hear these words come out. Of my mouth, “They were too sweet!”

My mom is all about Chocolate Raspberry together! I may just need to make these for her for Valentines Day! I prefer prefer spontaneous displays of love too. My husband isn’t really a gift giver so I don’t want to extra force him on Valentines just because it’s the 14th of the month haha.
