This Mocha Chocolate Chip Bread will quickly become a favorite! Moist and light with a hint of coffee and a healthy dose of chocolate. Great for breakfast or a snack!

Easy Chocolate Chip Mocha Quick Bread Recipe

Does it get any better than coffee AND chocolate for breakfast? I think not. Of course, if you are against chocolate for breakfast (what?!) you can reserve this for an afternoon snack or even dessert! Two loaves didn’t last 2 full days in my house!

Valentine's Day Chocolate Chip Mocha Bread

When I make this bread I always make 2 loaves at a time. Why? Because my kids want if for breakfast, snacks, and dessert as long as it’s in the house. They can’t get enough!

Mocha Chocolate Chip Bread

I have made this with and without coffee, and either way you can’t go wrong! The coffee flavor isn’t strong, but it does amplify the chocolate flavor! If you opt to make it without coffee, just swap it out for more milk.

I couldn’t resist making one loaf a little festive for Valentines Day. All I did was drizzle some melted chocolate on top of the baked bread and add some sprinkles. My kids were pretty excited to have sprinkles for breakfast! I think another loaf (or two) is in order for Valentine’s Day!

This bread looks delicious and I can’t wait to make it, but could you please clarify when you add the brewed coffee? At the same time as when you add the sour cream and milk? Also, is this baked in a 9 x 5 loaf pan? Thank you!

Hi Cari! Yes, the coffee goes in with the milk, and you use a 9×5″ loaf pan. I hope you enjoy the bread! My kids are already begging for more 🙂
