Salted Caramel Reese’s Cookies
Serves 48
Cook time 8 minutes
Salted Caramel Reese's Cookies are everything you could ask for in a cookie - and more! Soft and chewy chocolate cookies, creamy salted caramel, and Reese's!

Ingredients

Cookies

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cups cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all purpose flour

Caramel

  • 8oz caramels (unwrapped)
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 3oz cream cheese (softened)

Topping

  • 1 cup mini Reese's Pieces

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
In a mixing bowl beat butter, cocoa, and sugar until fluffy. Mix in eggs. Add baking soda, salt, and flour and mix just until combined.
Drop dough on parchment lined cookie sheet by 2 TBS. Flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass. Bake 7-9 minutes. Let cool completely.
Step 2
Melt caramels and milk in a microwave safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Beat on high in a mixing bowl until light (about 5 minutes). Beat in cream cheese until creamy. Spoon onto cooled cookies, being careful to not drip off the edges. Immediately sprinkle with sea salt and Reese's pieces. Store in a covered container in a single layer.

Chocolate and salted caramel is already one of my favorites. I can only imagine how good these are when peanut butter is thrown into the mix.

I can’t decide if you are truly evil or truly good. Because these cookies look so sinful and decadent! I’d never be able to eat just one, no self-control here!
