When you have a pumpkin craving, and you need something quick – this is your recipe! Less than 30 minutes from start to finish, and they taste amazing! Imagine if pumpkin cheesecake and snickerdoodles had a baby…yep, that’s what these taste like!
My daughter (7) is the biggest pumpkin lover in our family. I know any time I make a pumpkin dessert, she is going to love it. My 2 year old helped me make these, and as they were baking, my daughter was going nuts. They smelled SO good, and she couldn’t wait to try them!
She was so eager to eat one that she grabbed one before they even got slathered with butter and cinnamon sugar. And she still loved them! Of course she loved them even more after 🙂
This is such a fun, easy snack or dessert, and you probably already have all the ingredients on hand!

Pumpkin Cheesecake Twists
Ingredients
Filling
- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- 3 Tbsp pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Pastry
- 1 8 count tube crescent rolls
Topping
- 3 Tbsp melted butter
- 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
Filling
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Mix in pumpkin and spice until well incorporated. Set aside.
Pastry
- Open crescent roll can and roll out the dough slightly and press the seams together so it's one large rectangle.
- Using a sharp knife, cut into 8 equal pieces.
- Spoon filling down the center off each piece of dough and pinch together the ends to keep filling inside.
- With one hand on each end, gently twist the dough a couple times and lay on a cookie sheet or baking stone.
- Repeat until all 8 twists are done.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden. Let cool 5 minutes.
Topping
- Brush each twist with melted butter and immediately sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
