These no bake Muddy Buddy Crunch Bars have all the incredible chocolate and peanut butter taste as regular muddy buddies, in a less messy bar!

Whether you call it puppy chow or muddy buddies, I think we can all agree the stuff is delicious, right? I mean it’s chocolate and peanut butter – what’s not to love?

I make muddy buddies pretty often, and one day it just hit me: Why not make these in bar form? It’s much less messy this way, and takes literally 5 minutes to make! It’s a little easier to keep your portions in check with these too, since they are cut into bars. Just try not to eat the whole pan at once 🙂

Instead of using the traditional Chex cereal, I opted for something a little smaller and easier to eat. Captain Crunch turned out to be the perfect cereal for these bars. It’s fairly neutral in flavor, so all you taste is the peanut buttery chocolate goodness!

You know when you’re eating traditional muddy buddies and you find a cluster of a few chex that stuck together? Those are the best because there’s pockets of chocolate and peanut butter inside. These bars are just like those tasty clusters. Every nook and cranny is filled with chocolate peanut butter magic! The dusting of powdered sugar on top just seals the deal.

This recipe is a winner, guys. Next time you think about making muddy buddies, try these instead!
