Homemade Samoas Brownies
Homemade Samoas Brownies combine the flavors of the popular Girl Scout cookie with the best homemade fudge brownies! They're easy to make and so impressive!
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 9oz caramels (about 40 caramels)
- 3-4 tablespoons milk or cream
- 1 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup cream or whole milk
|Preheat oven to 350 |
In a large bowl melt the butter in the microwave. Stir in the cocoa powder and sugar. Add the salt and eggs, stirring well until combined. Stir in flour until completely incorporated.
Spread into an 8x8" greased pan. Bake 18 minutes.
|In a medium bowl melt the caramels with the milk in the microwave according to package instructions. Once melted, stir in the coconut. Spread evenly over brownies.|
|In a small bowl microwave the milk about 90 seconds. Pour in the chocolate chips and let it sit for 2 minutes. Whisk them together until smooth and pour over the brownies. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before cutting.|
