Homemade Oreo Fudge Cookie Dough Ice Cream Cake
Serves 12-14
Prep time 15 minutes
Making an ice cream cake is easier than you think! This Homemade Oreo Fudge Cookie Dough Ice Cream Cake is better than any store bought kind out there and comes together in minutes!

Ingredients

  • 10 Ice cream sandwiches
  • 3/4 bags Oreos (crushed)
  • 1 jar hot fudge (warmed, reserving 1/4 cup for topping)
  • 1/2 carton cookie dough ice cream (1/2 gallon size)
  • 4oz Cool Whip (or whipped cream)

Topping

  • sprinkles (optional)
  • chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

Step 1
Line the bottom of a 10" spring form pan with wax paper. Unwrap ice cream sandwiches and lay them in the bottom of the pan in a single layer. You will need to break some to make them fit.
Step 2
Stir together the crushed Oreos and warmed hot fudge (reserving 1/4 cup for topping) and spread it over the ice cream sandwich layer.
Step 3
Spread softened cookie dough ice cream on top of the fudge layer. Top with Cool Whip, sprinkles, chocolate chips, and reserved hot fudge, if desired. Freeze until ready to serve.
Step 4
Remove sides of the pan and carefully peel off the wax paper and set the cake on a stand or serving plate. Run a sharp knife under hot water to slice. Freeze leftovers.
