Healthy Brownie Bites are an easy, kid friendly, no bake, grab-and-go snack or lunchbox treat that will satisfy your chocolate cravings without the guilt!

With the start of a new year, many of you have likely resolved to excercise , eat better, etc. But please tell me you haven’t given up chocolate! These healthy brownie bites have no added sugar, no flour, and no butter or oil! Get your brownie fix without giving up your resolutions!

I made the tasty chocolate balls a few times, trying out different ingredients, and in the end it was a tie. My kids, strangely enough, preferred them without the chocolate chips!! I totally added them only because I figured my family would find them more appealing this way. Wrong! Almost everyone liked them better sans chocolate chips. So you decide whether or not to add them when you make these. It’s certainly healthier without them – but more chocolate is always better in my book 🙂 You could also use chocolate protein powder in place of the cocoa powder!

My daughter was begging for me to add these to her lunchbox, and my boys kept sneaking in the fridge for more. A couple of our other favorite energy bite recipes are: Lemon Pie Energy Bites (my fave!!), Banana Chocolate Chip Energy Bites, and Mint Chocolate Chip Energy Bites (soooo good!). Enjoy!

Stephanie, your recipe sounds good and healthy, but you really should give us
the dietary info to prove that it is healthy. I plan on making it with carob powder and mini chocolate chips.
    Thanks, Patti
