This Easy Homemade Caramel Dip is so simple to make and incredibly scrumptious, it will quickly become your favorite caramel recipe!

Easy Homemade Caramel Dip - This is the BEST caramel (or salted caramel) I've tried! NO candy thermometer needed!! https://backforseconds.com #caramel #carameldip #naturalcaramel

This is my go-to caramel dip recipe. It is the real deal, kids. No additives or funny ingredients that make it “taste” like caramel…this is real caramel! Buttery, smooth perfection! You don’t even need a candy thermometer, it’s so easy!

{Pssst! Make sure you read to the end, I have an AWESOME giveaway for you!!}

Easy Homemade Caramel Dip - This is the BEST caramel (or salted caramel) I've tried! NO candy thermometer needed!! https://backforseconds.com #caramel #carameldip #naturalcaramel

I am a from scratch kind of girl. I love homemade recipes because you control what goes in them. I also have an aversion to shortening and corn syrup and any other unnecessary additives.  This caramel doesn’t have any funny ingredients, just sugar, cream, butter, vanilla, honey, and salt. Simple and scrumptious!

Even if you’ve never made candy or caramel in the past, I believe you can do this! It really is easy. The key is to keep an eye on it while it’s cooking – no walking away!  Seriously, if you can stir, you can make this!

Grab some apples, pretzels, ice cream – whatever you want to smother in caramel. Let’s do this!

Want salted caramel? Just add in a little extra sea salt. Yum!

Before we get to the recipe I have a really special giveaway for you!!

D’Wana has an etsy shop, Mountain Girl Melodies, where she sells personalized hand stamped and painted leather cuffs. Let me tell you, her work is so very beautiful! There is so much detail put into each piece. You pick whatever word or name that is special to you and she will create a work of wearable art!

leather cuff giveaway

The sweetest part though, is the reason behind her selling these cuffs. She is raising money so she can go to Africa to teach women a trade so they can support themselves and their families. She has such a beautiful heart! You can read more about her story here.

I am so thrilled to be able to give away one of these stunning cuffs to one of you! I wear mine often and I know you will do the same. My cuff represents my precious babies, and says Miracles Happen.  I love it! (That’s me, 6 months pregnant with our newest miracle!)

    This caramel looks delish!! I would want my cuff to say something similar to “My hero has a zipper” and would be a reference to my youngest daughter. She was born with a heart defect and had open heart surgery and has a “zipper” scar down the center of her chest.

    Have you tried doubling the recipe? I would want to try this for a party, but I know not all recipes double well. How long do you think leftovers could stay in the fridge? What am I saying-anything leftover would never last!

    On a cuff? I think “Be of good courage”- a reminder I often need as I try to start my own company!! I’m sure the women in Africa would really appreciate D’Wana’s generous and loving help!
