Taco Snack Mix

- 7 cups Corn Chex cereal
- 2 cups pretzel twists (gluten free if needed)
- 2 cups cheese crackers (gluten free if needed)
- 1 packet McCormick Gluten-Free Taco Seasoning
- 4 tablespoons butter
|Preheat oven to 250 |
In a large bowl mix together the cereal, crackers, and pretzels. In a small glass bowl microwave the butter until melted. Pour over cereal and gently stir to coat. Sprinkle on the taco seasoning and gently stir again until evenly coated.
|Pour snack mix on a cookie sheet in an even layer and bake for an hour, atirring every 20 minutes. |
Store in a sealed container at room temperature.
For an appetizer, I made this…. Chili Spiced Cheese Dip. It’s actually more like a cheese ball texture, so make sure you use a sturdy chip or spread it on some crackers. We liked it with corn chips. The McCormicks Gluten-Free Chili Seasoning Mix really adds a fabulous flavor to this simple recipe. My husband thought it would be awesome baked too – totally trying that next time!
