I love making homemade granola and granola bars like these Maple Chocolate Cinnamon Granola Bars and this Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Granola is a fave too, and my kids love helping me! They are so easy, pretty healthy, and inexpensive to make, and they are a perfect snack or breakfast! This honey and peanut butter flavor is our favorite, but feel free to substitute any nut butter if you don’t do peanuts.
This is seriously one of the easiest recipes, and my kids think these are the best granola bars in the world! My 4 year old twins, and 2 year old made these all on their own. I just cut them into bars – they did the rest themselves!
I have been making more of an effort lately to be healthier. Not just for myself, but for my whole family. I have done a lot of research about health and wellness, and it is so incredible what our bodies can do when are given the proper vitamins and nutrients. So many health issues are preventable (and fixable) when we fill our bodies with what they need. After much research I have started taking this and this. Now, I can’t make and medical claims, but I will tell your from my personal experience, THIS STUFF IS LEGIT! I haven’t had a migraine since taking them, I have tons more energy (a necessary thing with 5 little ones), I’m sleeping better, (no more insomnia!), and my hair and nails are growing like weeds. I just had to share because maybe you are struggling with health issues too, or maybe you want to lose weight or just feel better! I’m sharing what works for me and maybe it will work for you too!
Annnnnnd back to the recipe 🙂
Sometimes the simple things are the best. You could certainly jazz these up with cranberries or chocolate chips, but we really love them plain and simple. They are pretty healthy and keep you satisfied for hours. Such a great snack to keep on hand! Give them a try!

These are great snacks for everyone! I followed the recipe the first time I made them but the second time I decreased the honey to just 1/2 cup and you can’t tell a difference. Definitely a keeper! Thanks!
