BEST Pork Chops with Creamy Pan Gravy
Serves 4
Cook time 25 minutes
This is the easiest and BEST Pork Chops with Creamy Pan Gravy I have ever had! The pork is juicy and so flavorful! The gravy is creamy, slightly tangy, and incredibly delicious! You will make this again and again!

Ingredients

Pork Chops

  • 4 Large boneless, thick cut pork chops (mine were 1 1/2)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Pan Gravy

  • 4oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Directions

Pork Chops
Step 1
Pour oil into a pan or deep skillet over medium high heat. Pat pork chops dry with a paper towel and season well with salt and pepper. Place them into the hot pan and let them cook for about 9 minutes before turning over to cook on the other side, over medium heat, for another nine minutes or until cooked through. Time will vary depending on the size and thickness of your pork chops.
Pan Gravy
Step 2
When the pork is cooked remove from the pan and set on a plate to rest. To the pan add cream cheese, stock, milk, salt, and garlic. Whisk continuously, scraping the pan to remove all the brown bits. Once the the cream cheese has melted, let the gravy simmer for 3 minutes, whisking occasionally. Turn off the heat and add the parsley and butter. Whisk until melted and smooth. Pour any juices from the plate the pork is resting on into the gravy and stir.
Serve immediately. Tastes great with mashed potatoes!

I adore pork chops, they remind me so much of my childhood. My mom was such a big fan of pork chops done in shake n bake for some reason. We ate it all the time. I swear I was an adult before I realized you could cook pork chops any other way. Ha.

I have to try this recipe. It looks amazing. Nothing better than pork chops smothered in gravy. Yum, yum.

I’m not a great meal planner either! No matter how much I try to be a better planner I always end up slacking in that department. My husband and I both get off work at 5 and he’s ready to eat by like 5:15 haha Love the Pan Gravy with these chops!! I’ll have to try these one night!

What sides do you make with this?
With pork shops I tend to do a veggie & noodles, not sure why.
I’m from Michigan so i feel every dinner needs a veggie & a starch

I love these with mashed potatoes – because that gravy is amazing on them! And we usually have broccoli or green beans too 🙂

Oh that gravy!! I make a similar sauce for chicken, so I bet it’s awesome on pork. I hear ya with the need for 30 minute meals being a total lifesaver.

I am the same when it comes to meal planning! I try, I really do. This year I have made a list ahead of time so maybe I will actually stick to it 🙂 I love how easy these pork chops are, and while chicken tends to get all the loving, my husband is a big pork eater and would love a meal like this.
