Peanut butter and cinnamon may not be a familiar flavor combination to you, but that’s about to change. The chocolate and peanut butter duo is a favorite among many of us but I wanted to spice things up a bit during this cookie making season.
I whipped up a batch of my favorite peanut butter cookie dough. It’s soft, chewy, and puffs up nicely in the oven. The dough is not too sweet – it actually has a hint of saltiness which pairs so well with the semi sweet chips I mixed into the batter.
Next I added a healthy dose of cinnamon chips. Have you had these yet? They are crazy good and I have been sneaking them into all kinds of recipes lately. They add a bit of unexpected spice to these cookies. Salty and sweet, spicy and chewy, soft and puffy. That right there is a perfect cookie in my book!
To me, cinnamon = Christmas, so be sure to bake some to put on your goodie tray this year!

I am awful for missing these A) because I love you and I stalk your site like crazy, and B) because I LOVEEEE cinnamon and I happen to adore eating peanut butter toast with cinnamon sugar sprinkled on top. Cinnamon can do no wrong; I love the stuff and eat it on everything religiously. These cookies rock my socks!

Depends on the size you make them. I like to make mine a bit on the small side (that way I can eat more!) and I got about 4 dozen. Hope you enjoy them!
