Skinny Crock Pot Chicken and Veggie Chowder Even though this is a chowder it still manages to earn the skinny label by making it chowdery without using fattening ingredients like heavy cream or whole milk. In fact all of the ingredients are good for you, which means the finished product is as well. An added feature is that it takes just 15 minutes to prep things and get them in the slow cooker, and it cooks for a full 8 hours so this is a whole meal for your family that you don’t really have to do too much to pull off.
