Salted Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies

Salted Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies are crispy around the edges and chewy on the inside. Sweet chocolate paired sea salt make these cookies irresistible!
- 1 cup salted butter (softened)
- 3/4 cups brown sugar
- 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanila extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 2/3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- flaked sea salt
|Preheat oven to 350 |
In a large mixing bowl cream together the butter and sugars.
Mix in salt, vanilla, and eggs.
Add baking soda and cornstarch and mix again.
Add flour and mix on low just until incorporated.
Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips.
|Drop by rounded 2 TBS scoops onto an ungreased cookie sheet 2" apart. |
Sprinkle a small amount of sea salt onto cookie.
Bake 9-11 minutes or until golden.
Allow to cool on the cookie sheet a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
These freeze well, too!
