Today I have an incredibly easy recipe for old fashioned chewy peanut butter cookies.

This recipe requires only 3 ingredients, and I bet you already have them on hand. As an added bonus, these cookies are gluten free!!

Of course, with Valentine’s Day around the corner I had to dress these up a bit.  If you add the chocolate and M&M’s like I did you will be up to 5 ingredients. Whew, I hope you can handle that. Luckily they will remain gluten free, so go ahead and load them up with chocolate!

3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies {Gluten Free}

Easy 3 Ingredient chewy old fashioned peanut butter cookies. Gluten free, and absolutely divine!


  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 egg


Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
Step 2
In a medium bowl, beat together all ingredients until well combined. Roll dough into 1 1/2" balls and set on an ungreased cookie sheet 2" apart. Using the back of a fork, press down to gently flatten the cookie slightly, leaving imprints from the prongs going down the middle. Repeat, this time at a perpendicular angle to the last imprint.
Bake for 8 minutes and allow to cool for 5 minutes on the cookie sheet before transferring to racks.
Topping - Optional
Step 3
If desired, melt 4 oz chocolate and dip half of each cookie. Immediately top with M&M's or sprinkles and place on wax paper until chocolate is set.
Store in a sealed container at room temperature,
