This is the Best Banana Cake ever! Easy to make, and so moist and fluffy! The chocolate chips and cream cheese frosting put it over the top!

Ingredients
  

Cake

  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 1/4 cup oil I use avocado oil
  • 2 lg bananas mashed
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Frosting

  • 3 oz cream cheese softened
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Cake

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • In a mixing bowl beat together the butter, oil, banana, and sugar.
  • Add the egg, vanilla and salt and mix well.
  • Add the milk and sour cream until well bended.
  • Carefully mix in the flour and baking powder just until combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan and bake for about 40 minutes or until tester comes out clean or with a few crumbs.
  • Allow to cool at least 20 minutes before removing from the pan.

Frosting

  • Once the cake has cooled, beat together all frosting ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  • Spread over the top of the cake, letting it drip down the sides.
    Store covered and refrigerated
