Toffee Fudge Brownies
Toffee Fudge Brownies - an easy dessert that can't be beat! The best homemade brownies, topped with rich chocolate ganache and lots of Heath bar pieces!
Ingredients
Brownies
- 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 bag Heath baking bits (or about 1 1/2 cup chopped Heath bars)
Topping
- 12oz semi sweet chocolate
- 1/3 cup milk

Step 1 | |
Preheat oven to 350 In a mixing bowl stir cocoa and melted butter until combined. Add sugar and mix well. Stir in eggs one at a time. Add salt and flour, stirring until well combined. Stir in 1 cup Heath bits. Spread into a greased 9x13" pan and bake about 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with fudgy crumbs. | |

Add chocolate to a glass bowl and set aside. In a small sauce pan, heat the milk just until it starts to simmer. Pour over chocolate and stir until smooth. Pour over cooled brownies and sprinkle with remaining Heath bits. |
