Sugar Cookie Cups with Chocolate Hazelnut Filling

Sugar Cookie Cups with Chocolate Hazelnut Filling

These pretty Sugar Cookie Cups with Chocolate Hazelnut Filling make a fun treat for a birthday party. The chewy cookie with creamy chocolate is irresistible!

Ingredients

  • 3oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

Filling

  • 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread

Topping

  • sprinkles (optional)

Directions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350*
In a large mixing bowl cream the cream cheese, butter, oil, and sugar. Add the egg, vanilla, and salt and beat until well combined. Add the flour and baking powder until well incorporated.
Drop by rounded tablespoons into a greased mini muffin tin. bake 6-7 minutes and let rest for a few minutes before moving to a wire rack to cool.
Once cooled, fill each cup with chocolate hazelnut spread. Add sprinkles if desired.
Store cookies in an airtight container.
