Y’all know of my love for brownies (best dessert ever), and sweet and salty things are my favorite. So these brownies? I wanted to eat the entire pan by myself. They are seriously good!

You all know about turtles, right? Little clusters of pecans and caramel dipped in chocolate that sort of resemble a turtle in shape. They are delicious, and I’ve made Turtle Poke Cake and No Fail Turtle Fudge inspired by these goodies that are super yummy, btw.

When I made these, I was trying to be good and not eat so much sugar. You guys, I just couldn’t resist these! The sweet and salty combo in brownies!?! It’s everything I love in one dessert. I had to give some away to keep myself from doing too much damage. You’ve got to make these…just make sure you have people around to share with 😉

All of my recipes use unsweetened cocoa powder unless otherwise noted. Hope you enjoy these brownies! 🙂

I’m going to try these but two questions. Can you substitute caramel sauce for the soft caramels? If the soft caramels are better, what brand do you recommend?

The caramel sauce would work but it will be a bit more runny. I use KRAFT caramels 🙂
