No Bake Pretzel Peanut Butter Bars
Serves 24
No Bake Pretzel Peanut Butter Bars can be made in minutes and they're so delicious! They are an easy sweet and salty dessert that everyone loves! Great for parties!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 13 long pretzel rods
  • 1 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 12oz semi sweet chocolate chips
  • coarse ground sea salt (optional)

Directions

Step 1
Line a 13x9" pan with foil and lightly coat with cooking spray.
In a food processor grind pretzels into fine crumbs and pour into a small bowl. To the food processor add melted butter, sugar, and peanut butter and process until smooth. Add pretzel crumbs and process again until well combined and a dough forms. Press the dough into the prepared pan. Set aside.
Step 2
Melt the chocolate in a glass bowl in the microwave in 30 second bursts, stirring between each one until melted and smooth. Carefully spread over peanut butter layer and sprinkle with sea salt if desired. Chill until set. Allow it to come to room temp before cutting into bars. Store covered at room temperature.

What amount of twisted pretzels could you use instead? Rods are sometime hard to find.

Oh yum! I love chocolate and peanut butter and am also a sucker for the salty/sweet combo. Definitely going to have to try these!

Do you know how many cups of crushed pretzels this took? Pretzel rods vary in size….plus I typically buy the smaller pretzel sticks and would love to just sub those.
