We are fudge lovers in my house, and I am always trying to come up with fun, new flavors. This idea popped into my head and I couldn’t wait to get in the kitchen and make it happen. This was SO good, I think it even earned a spot on this year’s Christmas cookie tray!
This week when I made cookies, I made them bite sized and put half in the freezer for another day. When I thought of this idea of milk and cookies fudge I remembered that I already had cookies in the freezer! Score! That made this fudge come together in 5 minutes. Seriously.
I can pretty much guarantee smiles all around when you make this fudge! It’s so fun and easy, and tastes downright delicious! Enjoy!

Do u mean Pillsbury cookie dough in the tubes or do I buy chocolate chip cookies and freeze them?
Stephanie Brubaker says
Any kind of premade cookies. Make them yourself or buy whatever kind you like best. Either way works! 🙂
Johanne says
Are the cookies regular package cookies cut up?
Stephanie Brubaker says
You can do either way! I used homemade because I had some on hand, but either way works 🙂
Mary says
Delicious!
Laura says
Easy quick dessert to make..I added more cookies but they didn’t look like your picture, more like a marble look..also first batch I chopped them too small..I think it’s better to add more & cut in bigger prices to break up the fudge
Amy says
So creative! Looking forward to trying this out.
Shaina says
Do you chop the cookies before you freeze them or after?
Stephanie Brubaker says
I chopped them after, but either way is fine. Enjoy!
Shaina says
Thank you! I decided I would chop them afterwards too and I’m about to make this right now. Very excited to see how it turns out since I’ve never made fudge before. Thanks again!
Susan says
Do you use raw cookie dough or cook the cookies and then freeze them for the recipe?
Stephanie Brubaker says
Hi Susan! I used cookies already baked. You could use store bought cookies to make things quicker, but I had some chocolate chip cookies already made in the freezer. Hope you enjoy!
Tanja Paquette says
Okay I am a little confused about the frozen cookie part…can someone explain
Stephanie Brubaker says
Sorry for the confusion. I use my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe and freeze several cookies for this recipe. The reason for freezing them first is so the chips don’t melt and the cookies don’t fall apart while mixing into the hot fudge mixture. Hope that helps!
Bridget says
I’m in a bind – do you think I could just freeze chips ahoy cookies? The “chewy” ones maybe?
Stephanie Brubaker says
Sure! Definitely get the chewy ones. Let me know what you think 🙂
