Maple Chocolate Cinnamon Granola Bars

Maple Chocolate Cinnamon Granola Bars

Maple Chocolate Cinnamon Granola Bars
Serves 12
Prep time 15 minutes
These chewy Maple Chocolate Cinnamon Granola Bars are so easy to make! They are no bake and come together in less than 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cup rice krispie cereal
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon chips
  • 1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1
In a bowl, add the oats, cereal, salt, and cocoa powder. Stir and set aside.
Step 2
In a small saucepan heat the brown sugar, maple syrup, and butter until melted and just beginning to boil. Turn off heat, Stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal mixture and gently stir until well coated. Add chips and stir again. Press into a greased, wax paper lined 9x9" pan and let cool completely before cutting into bars. Store covered at room temperature.

    These look amazing, I’m just wondering is it supposed to be a 1/4 cup of cocoa? It says 1/4 dash and I’m not sure what that means. Thanks, amber 🙂
