Lemon Pie Muddy Buddies - Oh My Word! SO Addicting!!!

When the weather is hot, I crave citrus – especially lemon! This fun snack totally hits the spot. It basically tastes like lemon pie or lemon bars, in a crunchy, easy, no bake treat!

No Bake Lemon Pie Muddy Buddies

Some people call these muddy buddies, some people call them puppy chow, and if you’re my 3 year old son you call them mushrooms. Don’t ask me why. It took me forever to figure out what he was really asking for when he was begging for more “mushrooms”. I don’t have a clue why he chose that name. Maybe because we call them muddy buddies and all he could remember was they started with an m???

Anyway, whatever you call them, if you like lemon, you need to try these! Make sure you have people to share them with though…they’re seriously addicting!

This sounds so refreshing. Lemon is a wonderful flavor for summer — and I bet it’s amazing in Muddy Buddies.

I’ve heard of puppy chow and muddy buddies but not mushrooms! The things kids say, right? Love this variation!

I’ve never had a muddy buddy! A citrus version sounds amazing though! Seriously tempting to mix this up.

hahaha I couldn’t stop myself from laughing when you said he called them mushrooms! haha too cute! I call them muddy buddies and puppy chow… just depends on how I’m feeling that day haha. Loving the lemon pie flavor you made these into! I normally only see flavors like chocolate and chocolate and peanut butter so it’s nice to see a new puppy chow flavor!

I love a good pucker, and I love to snack. However, I think these would be dangerous around me. I don’t think I’d be able to stop eating them. LOL

What a great idea! I will have to make this for my kids to try (and I’m sure I will be doing some sampling). I love anything with lemon.

I am forwarding this recipe to my daughter who absolutely loves muddy budddies or puppy chow, as she calls them. I love lemon too, especially in the summer and this is such a fun recipe – I love the idea of it!
