Here I am again with another brownie recipe! Oh, but these are different from the rest. You guys, I made these in the crock pot. Seriously!
I wondered if they would be soggy or cakey, or be yummy but not taste like brownies. I didn’t know what to expect from that magical pot that usually just produces soups and savory dinners. Well, I am so glad I experimented with these because they turned out amazing! And they made my house smell incredible too!
Taking the lid off 30 minutes before they’re done cooking keeps the brownies from getting wet from the steam, and gives them nice chewy edges.
Chewy on the outside, moist and fudgy on the inside, with a creamy, dreamy peanut butter swirl that makes these completely irresistible! I can’t wait to play around with more sweet treats in my slow cooker!

I could eat a million of these. I love making desserts in the slow cooker but I always have so much trouble photographing them for some reason. You nailed it. I want to dive right in there.

These look delicious. When baking in a crock pot you can also line the lid with several layers of paper towels to absorb the condensation. I’ve done it before and it works great.

I will try that next time, thanks!

I baked brownies once in my slow cooker when my oven broke down on me after I had already made the batter. And they turned out amazing! 🙂 I will have to give your brownies recipe a go soon.
