Funfetti Birthday Cake Cookies

Soft and chewy Funfetti Birthday Cake Cookies - the perfect cookie for a celebration! Cake batter flavored dough made without cake mix, loaded with sprinkles and Reese's!
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter (softened)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon butter extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup sprinkles
- 3/4 cups Reese's Pieces
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 In a large mixing bowl cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add extracts, and eggs and mix well. Add the cornstarch, baking soda, and salt and half of the flour and mix again. Add remaining flour and mix just until incorporated. Stir in chips, sprinkles and Reese's. | |

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto an ungreased cookies sheet. Bake for 6-7 minutes. Let cool for 2 minutes before removing from pan onto wore racks to cool. Store at room temperature in a tightly sealed container. |

Is it baking powder or baking soda? In your ingredients it says soda, but in the instructions it says powder. Thanks!

These cookies were delicious! I think I should have chilled the dough before baking, however; mine melted out rather flat, unlike the ones in your photos. Regardless, they were so good and I’m going to send them across the country today as a birthday gift for my sister. Hoping they survive the journey!!
