Easy Chicken Parmesan Sandwiches

Ingredients
- 6 boneless skinless chicken breast hlaves
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 3/4 cups plain bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 jar Traditional Ragu Sauce
- 6 Italian sub buns
Directions
Step 1 | |
Preheat oven to 400 In a shallow dish combine bread crumbs, parmesan, italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. | |
Step 2 | |
Dip each piece of chicken into a bowl with the beaten egg, and turn to coat. Then dip into the bread crumb mixture until completely coated. Cook on a baking sheet for 25 minutes. | |
Step 3 | |
Place open sub buns on a baking sheet and sprinkle with cheese. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Place a piece of chicken on the buns and spoon on some sauce. Serve hot. |

I love Ragu sauces. I always keep some on hand at all times. Our lives are crazy busy so I like to keep quick options on hand. This sandwich has my tummy growling. I could really go for one right now.
