Chewy Brownie Cookies with M&M’s

These Chewy Brownie Cookies with M&M's are always met with rave reviews. Chewy, fudgy, brownie-like cookies are loaded with chocolate and M&M candies - YUM!
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cups cocoa powder (I use 1/2 cup regular and 1/4 cup dark cocoa)
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cup M&M's
Directions

| Preheat oven to 350 In a mixing bowl add melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder and mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add salt, vanilla, powder, and soda, and mix well. Gradually add flour and mix on low until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and 1/2 cup M&M's. Cover and chill at least 30 minutes. | |

| Drop cookie dough by rounded spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet. Press a few M&M's onto the tops of each cookie. Bake 9 minutes. Allow to cool for a couple minutes on the tray before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in a tightly sealed container. | |

It says a minimum of 30 minutes chilled. Could I make these in the morning, chill them in the fridge during the day bake them in the evening?
