Easy No Yeast Cinnamon Rolls

Everything you love about traditional cinnamon rolls in a fraction of the time! No yeast, no rising, no waiting! Just pure deliciousness, easy enough you can enjoy them anytime!

Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup oil I use avocado oil

Filling

  • 1/2 cup very soft salted butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Icing

  • 4 tbsp salted butter softened
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • splash of milk if needed

Instructions
 

Dough

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • In a large mixing bowl add flour, baking soda, baking powder, sour cream, buttermilk, and oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  • Toss some flour on a clean counter and roll out the dough into a large rectangle about 1/8" thick and around 12x8".
  • Evenly spread butter over the entire surface of the dough.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the sugars and cinnamon and sprinkle on the dough as evenly as possible.
  • Roll up the dough starting on the 12" side, and slice into 12 equal rolls.
  • Place cinnamon rolls in a buttered pan with enough space in between for the rolls to expand.
  • Bake for 20 - 25 minutes until lightly browned and puffy.

Icing

  • Beat together butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add vanilla, powdered sugar, and milk and mix until creamy. Pour over hot rolls.
