- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1/2 cup oil I use avocado oil
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 large mashed bananas very ripe
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 tbsp grated orange zest
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 1 tbsp grated orange zest

Preheat oven to 350
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, oil, and sugar until well combined.
Add mashed bananas and mix well.
Add salt, vanilla, orange juice and zest and mix until well combined.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition.
Mix in baking soda and baking powder.
Set the mixer on low and gradually add the flour until combined.
Divide batter evenly between two greased 8.5"x4.5" loaf pans.
Bake 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool 15 minutes before removing from pans. Let cool completely before glazing.
Glaze
Whisk together powdered sugar, orange juice, and zest until it reaches a glue like consistency. Add more juice if too thick, or more sugar if too runny. Drizzle over cooled loaves.
