Mocha Chocolate Chip Bread
This Mocha Chocolate Chip Bread will quickly become a favorite! Moist and light with a hint of coffee and a healthy dose of chocolate. Great for breakfast or a snack!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 eggs (beaten)
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup brewed coffee
- 2/3 cups mini chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add the beaten eggs and mix very well. Mix in cocoa, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and half of the flour mixing until well combined. Mix in the sour cream, coffee and milk. Mix in remaining flour just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with moist crumbs. Let cool for 15 minutes, then run a knife around the edges and remove from pan. Let cool completely before storing. |
