Chocolate Peanut Butter Twix Cookies
These soft and chewy Chocolate Peanut Butter Twix Cookies are sure to become a new favorite cookie in your house! What more could you want in a cookie?
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cups cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups chopped Twix bars (about 20 fun size bars)
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup peanut butter chips
|Preheat oven to 350. |
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, oil, and sugar. Add the cocoa and mix well. Add the eggs, salt, and vanilla and mix well. Add baking powder, cornstarch, and flour, mixing just until combined. Stir in twix, and chips.
|Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets 2" apart. Bake for 9-10 minutes. Allow to cool for a few minutes on the cookie sheet before transferring to a cooling rack. Be careful, they will be very soft. |
Once cooled, store in an airtight container.
