Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

These Soft and Chewy Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars will satisfy any peanut butter and chocolate craving! Perfect with a cup of coffee or glass of milk!
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons oil (I used coconut oil)
- 1 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cups cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips
Topping
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup mini semi sweet chocolate chips (sprinkle on top if desired)

Preheat oven to 350 In a large mixing bowl, cream the butters, oil, and sugar. Add the cocoa, salt, and vanilla and mix well. Add in the egg and mix again. Add the baking soda, baking powder, and corn starch and gradually mix in the flour until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips and spread into a greased jelly roll pan. Bake for 14-16 minutes or until tester comes out clean. | |

Once cool, melt the peanut butter and pour into a plastic baggie. Snip of the very tip of the corner of the baggie and drizzle peanut butter over bars. Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips if desired. Cut into bars and enjoy! Cover and store at room temperature. |
