There isn’t much better than a chocolate fudge brownie made from scratch…unless they’re Marshmallow Brownies! These are rich and fudgy and ooey gooey delicious!
These Marshmallow Brownies are one of the easiest desserts to make and they are pretty much guaranteed to put a smile on everyone’s face. Fudgy brownies are one of my all time favorite treats, and this simple, one bowl recipe is the base for this winning dessert!
This is a pretty big week for my family. My first born is starting kindergarten, and my twins are turning 3!! How in the world is this possible? No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to slow down time. I have been soaking up every minute with my little ones, these last few months especially. You may think that having 4 kids 5 and under, I would be excited to have one is school all day.
You would be wrong.
It’s the end of a very precious season for me. I will no longer have all of my babies home with me all day, everyday. We didn’t send my daughter to preschool so she is just jumping right in to a full day of kindergarten. Her 3 brothers and I are going to miss her like crazy! By the time you’re reading this she will have completed her first day…I have been a wreck about this for months and I know it’s going to be a tough day (for me anyway). Here’s hoping I can keep it together when I drop her off at school!
Then the following day my twin boys will turn 3 years old. Wasn’t it just yesterday we were driving back and forth to the NICU everyday to visit them and hold them and kiss their tiny faces?! I honestly cannot comprehend how it has been 3 years!
And don’t even get me started on my baby who I swear was JUST born. He is almost 8 months old already! Are we in some kind of warp speed time machine or something?
Sigh
While I go have a good cry, you should go make these brownies. They will make you happy…maybe bring a few to my house too. I’m going to need them!

I’m with you. I like mine being home. I get a bit sad when it’s time to go back to school even now and mine are 15 and 18.

You certainly have had your hands full with 4 kiddies under 5 and yes I agree, the “first” of anything is hard to swallow, but each season of life is precious. My youngest is now 8, my middle one is going into 6th and my oldest is starting 9th. OMG i am a mom to a highschooler!! I hope your daughter had a wonderful first day of school!

Oh, how well I remember those “first” days. They were almost always harder for me than they were for my daughter. Now she’s all grown with two of her own (1 high schooler and 1 third grader). Just try to enjoy it because they grow up so fast! And…brownies definitely help 🙂

My oldest is going to Kindergarten for the first time next week and my youngest just turned 3 as well! We did send him to preschool for the past two years, but I can tell you, it doesn’t make it any easier on me – I’m a mess already! These brownies would be the perfect way to forget all my worries, haha!

I just keep in mind that everyday is more wonderful than the next and I don’t get quite as sad about my daughter growing up. There is always something new and exciting that I just can’t help but look forward to each day and whatever is next. She would absolutely adore these brownies.

What a sweet post! I don’t have any kids yet, so I don’t know how that feels – but I am sure that it’s hard to let them go off and grow up!
At least you have these ah-may-zing creations to calm the pain? Pinned!

I hear you and then some! My oldest starts first grade next week, and my youngest is going to preschool with her big sister. I can’t believe it! When did they stop being so chubby and tiny?
I will be baking a batch of these to drown my sorrows. That marshmallow top layer is beyond!
