3 Ingredient Tagalongs

Ingredients
- 10 Vanilla Wafers
- 3 heaped tablespoons peanut butter (creamy)
- 4oz chocolate (can use chocolate chips, almond bark, or any bar of your favorite chocolate)
Directions

Spread a generous amount of peanut butter on top of each vanilla wafer. | |
Step 2 | |
Melt chocolate in a small bowl, and one by one, carefully place each cookie into the chocolate. Using a spoon to pour chocolate over the tops. Scoop the cookie out of the bowl of chocolate using a fork and gently tap on the side of the bowl to help give the cookie a smooth finish. Place coated cookies on wax paper until set. Store in a covered container at room temperature. |

I haven’t tried this recipe yet, I’m sure it will be great. I made something similar this past Christmas. I took Ritz crackers, added peanut butter on 1 Ritz, then placed another Ritz cracker over the top, so a pea it butter Ritz cracker sandwich. I then dipped them into the chocolate. I used regular and white chocolate. Sweet & Salty, they are delish. My boyfriend is picky and he loves the Ritz cracker ones, he says they taste just like the tagalogs!! I’m sure you could make them the same way with the vanilla wafers I can’t hardly wait to make them.

Quick tip: freeze the wafers with PB on them for an hour and you’ll be able to dip them on a spoon or by hand if you don’t mind the mess.

We make these by spreading the peanut butter in between two Ritz Crackers rather than the vanilla wafers. Tastes just like the real thing.

My mom and I make these using Ritz crackers. We put creamy peanut butter between two crackers, then dip them in melted chocolate and sprinkle jimmies or sprinkles on top. Love the sweet & salty mixture 🙂
