Almond Joy Fudge
Serves 80
Prep time 10 minutes
This easy Almond Joy Fudge is fool proof! Leave off the almonds to make Mounds Fudge. This fudge recipe is totally irresistible! Great for Christmas trays!

Ingredients

Fudge

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Topping

  • 1/2 cans sweetened condensed milk (7 oz)
  • 2 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • 80 almonds or almond slices

Directions

Fudge
Step 1
In a large glass bowl, microwave the chocolate and condensed milk for 1 minute. Stir until smooth and completely melted. Heat an additional 30 seconds if needed. Pour into a parchment paper lined 9" square pan. Set aside.
Topping
Step 2
In a medium sized bowl stir together the coconut and condensed milk. Drop by spoonfuls as evenly as possibly over the fudge. Very gently press into an even layer, being careful to not smash the layer of fudge. Sprinkle on a little extra coconut if there are any holes.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Cut into 1" squares and top each square with an almond if desired. Store covered in the refrigerator.
Can be frozen too!
