These Triple Chocolate Parfaits are great for a party, or make them “just because” for the chocolate lovers in your life! Everyone goes crazy for these!!
Who doesn’t love a parfait? Especially when it involves three kinds of chocolate! This recipe for Triple Chocolate Parfaits is one that I have made several times, and each time it disappears at an alarming rate. People go nuts for this treat!
The last time I made these, I used scraps of cake that were leftover from the Totoro cake I carved for my twin boys 2nd birthday. Do you know about Totoro?? It’s a studio Ghibli movie and my kids are all obsessed with those movies. If you have young children you should check them out. The stories are sweet and for some reason they are completely mesmerizing for young kids!
Here’s what their cake looked like:
Now you need to google “My Neighbor Totoro” so you know what the heck a Totoro is, ha! This was my first attempt at carving a cake…my boys looooooved it though! And they’re 2 so obviously they know what they’re talking about.
I was just glad they knew what it was 🙂
Back to the trifles. These are so perfect for parties. You can make them in individual glasses like I did, or just use one large trifle bowl. Either way it tastes amazing, and everyone will love it!
Use a box mix for the cake to make it super duper easy, or make one from scratch (which really is easy too). Here is one on my favorite chocolate cake recipes.

Hi Krishna,
I’m so sorry for the confusion. Something was glitchy with the recipe card. It’s all fixed now 🙂
