Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Banana Bars
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Banana Bars are every bit as good as they sound! A cross between banana bread and blondies, and as comforting as home!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cups smashed bananas (about 2 medium bananas)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1
Preheat over to 350
In a large mixing bowl beat butter, oil, peanut butter, and sugars very well. Add bananas, egg, salt, and baking soda and mix again. Mix in flour. Stir in chips until well combined.
Step 2
Spread into a 13x9" pan and bake 25 minutes or until tester comes out clean or with moist crumbs.

Bars like these send me into a whirl, I just love them so much! Love your reminder not to over bake (which I always have a tendency to do – ugh)!. They look scrumptious!

Yes. Yes. Yes. These look sinfully delicious. I love how moist the banana keeps the bars and you can never go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate! Did I mention, YES!?
