Easy Christmas Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe
This Easy Christmas Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe is so fun and festive, and takes just 3 ingredients to make! Perfect recipe for a Christmas cookie exchange!
- 1 cup O Organics® creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 Large O Organics® egg
- 1 cup O Organics® Bittersweet Chocolate Chunks
- crushed candy canes and sprinkles
|Preheat oven to 350 |
In a medium bowl, beat together all ingredients until well combined. Roll dough into 1 1/2" balls and set on an ungreased cookie sheet 2" apart.
|Using the back of a fork, press down to gently flatten the cookie slightly, leaving imprints from the prongs going down the middle. Repeat, this time at a perpendicular angle to the last imprint. |
Bake for 8-9 minutes and allow to cool for 5 minutes on the cookie sheet before transferring to racks to cool completely.
|In a glass bowl, heat the chocolate in the microwave for about 90 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and smooth.|
|Dip half of each cooled cookie into the dark chocolate and immediately add sprinkles or candy cane pieces (if desired). |
Allow chocolate to set up completely before storing in an airtight container.
These can also be frozen!
