Ingredients
- 14oz sweetened shredded coconut
- 14oz sweetened condensed milk
- 10oz semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions

Preheat oven to 325 In a large bowl, stir together the coconut, condensed milk, and chocolate chips until well combined. | |

Drop by rounded tablespoons 1" apart on a parchment or silicone mat lined cookie sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until edges are golden. | |

Allow cookies to cool completely before storing in a sealed container or freezing. |

These make a very sweet macaroon. I used dark chocolate chips to offset the sweetness. I think I could have used more coconut as well, maybe even some unswetened coconut, but that would remove the simplicity of opening and dumping 2 bags and a can. You cannot beat this for its simplicity. Also, some of the milk pooled around the macaroons and made a delightful caramel like layer. Overalk, we enjoyed these. I probably will try using some unsweetened coconut next time I make them.
