Chewy Chocolate Nutella Cookie Bars

Chewy Chocolate Nutella Cookie Bars

Chewy Chocolate Nutella Cookie Bars

Cook time 20 minutes
Total time 30 minutes
Chewy Chocolate Nutella Cookie Bars are a fast and easy way to get your chocolate fix! They are fudgy, chewy, and loaded with chocolate and Nutella!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Bars

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2/3 cups cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Topping

  • 1/4 cup Nutella (melted)

Directions

Bars
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
In a mixing bowl, beat butter, cocoa, oil, and sugars until well combined. Mix in Nutella. Add eggs one at a time until well incorporated. Mix in salt and vanilla. Add flour and mix until combined. Stir in chips. Spread into 9x13" pan and bake 20 minutes or until tester comes out clean or with fudgy crumbs. Let cool.
Topping
Step 2
Drizzle melted nutella over cooled bars. Cut into squares. Store tightly covered.

    I am a HUGE fan of not putting baking powder in my brownies or blondies. The result is just so much more dense and fudgy. These look great! I made a nutella bar just yesterday, great minds thin alike 🙂
