Amazing Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes

|Cook time||20 minutes|
|Total time||35 minutes|
- 4lb potatoes (peeled and quartered)
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 8oz cream cheese
- 2/3 cups whole milk (more if needed)
- salt and pepper (to taste)
|Place quartered potatoes into a large pot and cover with cold water. |
Boil until potatoes are fork tender (about 15-20 minutes).
Drain off the water.
|Mash potatoes very well or place in a mixer until most lumps are gone. |
Add butter, cream cheese, and salt and pepper and mash again.
Add milk and mash until smooth and creamy. Add more milk if too thick.
Check seasonings and serve.
