We all know about fun-fetti cake, right? Well, I found a way to make it even more fun – rum!

I made a thick cake batter from scratch and added rum and lots of sprinkles. Then I rolled the batter into balls and dipped them in chocolate and loaded them up with more sprinkles! They just scream fun, don’t they?

These would be the perfect treat to bring to a holiday party. If you don’t want to use rum you can use rum extract instead. Then the kids can enjoy them too!

  • 18oz chocolate/white chocolate (can use chocolate chips, almond bark, or any bar of your favorite chocolate)

Directions

Step 1
In a medium bowl cream together the butter, cream cheese, and sugars. Add in the flour, rum, and milk mixing until well combined. Mix in sprinkles.
Step 2
Roll mixture into 1 1/2" balls and set on a wax paper lined cookie sheet. Freeze about 2 hours.
Step 3
In another bowl, melt chocolate according to package instructions and dip truffles one at a time, lifting them out of the chocolate with a fork. Gently tap the fork on the side of the bowl to allow excess chocolate to drip off. Immediately top with sprinkles.
Repeat with white chocolate and remaining truffles.
