That needed to change. I had something extra special in mind for these little cupcakes too :)  I had an appointment for an ultrasound, where we would find out the sex of our baby, and my husband was not able to get the day off work. So I decided we needed to find a fun way of sharing the news with him when he got home that night. Light and Fluffy Lemon Cupcakes with Lemon Frosting made from scratch! http://backforseconds.com #cupcakes #lemon #dessert I took one cupcake and filled it with frosting in the color that would let him know if he was having a boy or a girl. We gave it to him that night and as he was eating it I played him the video I took of me telling our 4 year old daughter our happy news. It was fun! Light and Fluffy Lemon Cupcakes with Lemon Frosting made from scratch! http://backforseconds.com #cupcakes #lemon #dessert These cupcakes are such a fun treat. To tell our parents (both sides) we were pregnant with their first grandchild, we invited them to dinner. For dessert, we set a cake in the middle of the table that said, “Happy Grandparents Day!” It was one of the best moments EVER in my life, watching as the message registered with them one by one. That was 20 years ago… thanks for triggering a great memory for me.

    Congratulations!
