Ok, you could ask for ice cream on top :) I made a sundae using salted caramel ice cream, and holy moly! Totally dangerous! Not much beats a warm melty, fudgy cookie bar topped with ice cream, toffee, and chocolate. I love desserts with lots of flavors and textures going on. This is one of my new favorites!

Instead of mixing the toffee into the batter, I made a toffee crust on top of the bars. This crunchy topping was a perfect complement to the chewy, fudgy bars. Let’s just say, I ate my fair share of these :)
