My teen daughter, adult cousin and I just made these for my brother’s birthday.it was a fun and quick collaboration. Our white layer looks yellow. I used one cup of white chocolate chips, Ghirardelli. The 11 oz bag had a cookie recipe that called for 2 cups of the chips with (11oz) in parentheses, so I figured one cup was about 6 oz. Should I have added more chips?
They are cooling and we haven’t cut them yet. Maybe it will look whiter in comparison to the fudgy layer.

OMG!! These are absolutely fudgy!! By far one of the best combination brownies I have ever tried! I put a thin layer of buttercream frosting over the top and my husband raved about them! For the vanilla brownie layer I used a half of a 12 ounce package of white chocolate chips and melted that with the butter. Wasn’t’ too sure about how it would work, but it incorporated with the flour and eggs very well. Thanks for the recipe!!

This look so amazing! Actually every recipe I see looks amazing. I found your website through Six Sister’s Stuff and I’m definitely adding this one to the list of recipes to try!

I am usually not much of a chocolate person, but I totally bend that rule for fudgy brownies–they are the best. Pair them with sugar cookies and I fear I’ll find myself sitting on the floor of the kitchen in a sugar coma with an empty brownie pan and about fifteen minutes of memory gone haha.
